Film production / technical understanding

Show the system.
Make the work clear.

Company films, customer stories and product explanations for AV integrators, display manufacturers and smart-home specialists. Made by a filmmaker who takes the time to understand what the technology does, why it matters and who needs to understand it.

AV integrators / installation case studies

Explain the installation in its setting.

An installation film needs more than equipment shots. Interviews, system detail and the finished space help customers understand the brief, the engineering decisions and the experience the system makes possible.

The Heathrow Terminal 5 LED towers film was produced for Sharp Display Solutions, with attention to scale, resilience, fire safety and energy efficiency in a working airport.

Display manufacturers / products and events

Keep the technical detail credible.

Product films, customer interviews and trade-show coverage need to work for marketing teams while remaining useful to integrators, consultants and technical buyers.

Jaegerfilm’s continuing work for Sharp, previously NEC Display Solutions, spans installation stories, Direct View LED explanations, customer programmes and ISE product-manager films.

Smart-home specialists / company and customer films

Show what integrated technology feels like.

Lighting, control, sound and home cinema are part of a lived environment. Company films, showroom tours and completed-home stories can explain that experience without becoming a list of products.

New Wave AV’s programme connects a company film with website, installation and staff films. The Potters relationship brings together company stories, completed homes and its Smart Home Garden.

The production

One person responsible for the whole story.

Scott leads the project from the first conversation and story development through interview direction, filming and post-production. Additional crew and specialists are brought in when the production needs them.

The scope can include a main film, shorter website versions, sales and presentation assets, and social edits. The useful combination depends on where the material will be used.

How the production works

Access and context

Plan around the working environment.

Access, permissions, interviews and filming are planned around the people and place. Experience ranges from airports and occupied homes to healthcare installations.

For Sky Inside, Scott’s work extends to display and playback systems, original environmental content and films about the installations. That practical systems experience informs the questions he asks on a technical shoot.

Getting started

A finished brief is not required.

Start with the organisation, the subject, who needs to see the film and how you expect to use it. Any access constraints, key dates and existing material help shape the production and quotation.

If the need is to explain how to use an installed room, QR-accessed room guides offer a separate, practical handover format.
